The final month of 2017 is upon us, which can only mean one thing; it’s nearly Christmas! For many of us the festive season is the best time of the year. Overindulging in sweet treats, mulled wine and spending time with family & friends. We’d be lying if we said we didn’t like the odd glass of our favourite tipple over the Christmas period but we all know with Christmas parties and nights out with friends, we can often find ourselves feeling slightly worse for wear the following day.
For this post I’ve team up with the well known barber shop chain, Murdock London to help you ease the dreaded hangover the day after a merry night out.
We’re all aware of the classic hangover cures. Paracetamol, drink water, greasy fry up and even a hair of the dog, but there are some other treatments that may surprise you when it comes to busting that dreaded feeling after consuming one too many.
Recommended by the team at Murdock, why not treat yourself to a wet shave? With a combination of face wash and post shave balm, you’ll experience one of the best hangover cures known to man.
Once you’ve enjoyed the shave, a hot towel application will help clear the alcohol out of your system and replenish your skin, leaving you feeling fresh and re-energised.
Although you may be hiding the fact that your stomach is doing somersaults and you feel like someone is repeatedly jumping on your head , your eyes wont hide the truth. We’ve all see the look in someones eyes when they’re feeling rough from a heavy night.
Applying a few dabs of an eye serum will help prevent that drained look around your eyes and the team from Murdock recommend keeping it in the fridge so it also provides you with a cool, refreshing feeling.
Hair of the dog treatment
I’ll be honest, this treatment sounds rather appealing! Most of us feel a hair of the dog is the best hangover treatment, so the guys at Murdock have taken that on board.
Sit back, relax and enjoy a Bloody Mary, express Murdock facial, wash, blow dry and hair style. The perfect pick me up after a night out or even before round 2.
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s important that we make the most of the final month of 2017. Enjoy time with family and friends, indulge in chocolate, mince pies and treat yourself to the odd glass of your favourite drink. If you find yourself with a sore head the next day, then hopefully this post will help you out.
