In today’s world going to the gym and keeping fit plays a big part in the lives of many people, but it also seems that appearance during the workout matters to a large number of people. There are a large number of brands whose main purpose is to sell gym clothing and accessories but many high street and online brands are now creating their own activewear range alongside the everyday clothing products they already sell.
I’m the first to admit that I would normally only purchase gym clothing from brands such as MyProtein and GymShark but I was recently asked to try out the BoohooMAN activewear collection and I jumped at the chance.
The first items I opted for were two of the long sleeve muscle fit T-shirts, I wasn’t sure what the fit would be like as normally I buy long sleeve tops and the body fits but the arms are too short but I can honestly say the fit was perfect, which I was really surprised about. The products offer a comfy, lightweight feel, with a simple but smart look which means these t-shirts don’t have to just be worn in the gym.
Vests aren’t something that normally appeal to me, especially stringer vests which seem to be popular with many people, but Boohoo offer a sleeveless T-shirt which gives you the best of both worlds so I thought I would give it a go. Overall it’s a great product and at £6 I would definitely consider buying more than one.
Recently I’ve been looking for a pair of jogging bottoms that I can wear both in and out of the gym so that was the first thing I looked for on the Boohoo website. I liked the look of the skinny fit zip joggers mainly because of the colour but I wanted them with as less detail as possible and these were the closest thing. The only negative point I would say is that the joggers have a long zip going from the hip, down to the knee on the right hand side, which you can’t see on the website. I’ll be honest, if I’d have seen it on the image then I probably wouldn’t have chosen them but overall I’m really happy with them.
I must admit, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the BoohooMan activewear range! The quality and feel of the products are of a really high standard and all four of the items I tested come to a total of £41, which compared to some brands would only get you one item of clothing.
