So, as I am sure you have all seen in the news recently Britain is seeing a large increase in the number of people in the UK, particularly teenagers who are becoming obese due to lack of exercise and not choosing the correct food’s to eat.
Most people don’t know the true facts about obesity, how it’s caused and mainly how to reverse it, so when I seen this infographic from Europa Pharmacy I thought it would be a great thing to share with you all.
One thing I have always found is that I don’t know exactly what I should be eating when it comes to portion size and also the breakdown in percentage of protein, carbohydrates etc. In the recent budgets released by the government some of you may have seen that the “Sugar Tax” is going to be added to fizzy drinks with the hope that people will cut down on consuming the sugary drinks. Because of this many articles on health and obesity have been published in the media. When I was reading through the Mail Online a few days ago I came across a really informative article answering my questions regarding portion size and what exactly we should be eating.
I do go to the gym about 5 times a week and I do like to eat well but it is hard to know exactly what you should be eating and how much.
